Manchester United star Fred is reportedly eyeing Paris Saint-Germain.
The 29-year-old’s contract was due to expire next summer, but United could extend his deal by another year. From the club’s perspective, this is a no-brainer. It either gives them more time to discuss a long-term deal or it affords them the ability to sell their player instead of losing them for nothing.
According to the Sun, the Red Devils want to sell him for £30m, a fee PSG is happy to pay and is desperate for him to join. Fred joined Manchester United in 2018. He made 174 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals. He is a solid midfielder who is highly rated for his passing, ball interception skills, and blocking ability.
